How long Kawaa keeps verification results, uploaded files, account data and billing records, and how to delete data early.

| Account data | Until you delete your account. For an account whose email address is never verified, deletion starts once it is 30 days old and its latest verification link has expired, and finishes on a later daily deletion run. Once you confirm the deletion from the link we email you, you have 30 days to cancel; the daily deletion run then removes the account and its data, about 31 to 32 days after you confirmed for most accounts. Each run deletes a limited amount, so an account with a lot of data or many white-label sub-accounts takes longer (about 34 to 35 days or more with 100 sub-accounts); the runs continue every day until it is all deleted. Billing records and audit logs are kept after deletion for the periods in this table. |

Automatic deletion
Data is automatically purged after retention periods expire. No manual action required.
Our databases are backed up continuously and once a day. When data is deleted from the live service, copies of it can remain in these backups for up to 35 days; the backups are then deleted automatically.
Each verification result is deleted when the retention period it was stored under ends. Free-plan results stored before the 7-day period took effect were stored for 30 days and keep that date; nothing is deleted earlier than it was scheduled when it was stored.
Early deletion
You can request early deletion of your data at any time:
- Email privacy@kawaa.com with the addresses or job IDs to delete
- Request full account data deletion
- Export data before deletion if needed
